Doha: The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center is set to hold a stamps and coins auction on Friday, coinciding with the “Athar and Ketab” event in collaboration with the Qatari Dar Al Kutub. The auction is scheduled to take place at 8 PM at the headquarters of Dar Al Kutub.

According to Qatar News Agency, the auction will feature 209 valuable items and is expected to attract stamp and coin collecting enthusiasts from Qatar and several Gulf countries. The collection includes Qatari stamps, old paper money from Qatar as well as other Gulf and Arab countries, fancy number notes, and early models of coins.

The event is part of a broader effort to promote philatelic and numismatic interests in the region and offers collectors a unique opportunity to acquire rare and historically significant items.
