Doha: Deposit rates at opening, as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB), have been released for various currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits are 3.96839% for 1 month, 3.90336% for 2 months, 3.83833% for 3 months, 3.69369% for 6 months, and 3.49682% for 12 months. For JPY, the rates range from 0.40000% for 1 month and 2 months, to 0.78000% for 12 months, with slight increases at other durations.

CHF deposit rates show negative figures, starting at -0.18000% for 1 month and moving to -0.03000% for 12 months. GBP rates vary from 3.91000% for 1 month to 4.01000% for 2 months. Over 6 months, the rate is 3.98000%, and it returns to 3.91000% at 12 months.

For QAR, the rates start at 4.60000% for 1 month and decrease to 4.10000% for 12 months. Meanwhile, SAR rates begin at 5.00000% for 1 month, dropping to 4.55000% for 12 months. AED rates range from 2.05000% for 1 month to 3.15000% for 12 months. BHD rates remain stable at 4.75000% for up to 6 months before declining to 4.25000% for 12 months.
