Qatar National Bank Releases New Deposit Rates for Global Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Sunday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as following:

According to Qatar News Agency, the newly announced deposit rates for various currencies by Qatar National Bank (QNB) mark a significant update in the financial landscape. For the U.S. dollar (USD), the rates start at 3.72923% for a one-month deposit and decrease to 3.43118% for a twelve-month deposit. Japanese Yen (JPY) rates begin at 0.60000% for one month and rise to 0.90000% for a year-long deposit. The Swiss Franc (CHF) deposit rates open at -0.22000% for one month and adjust to -0.03000% for durations of six and twelve months. Meanwhile, the British Pound (GBP) rates commence at 4.04000% for a month and shift slightly to 4.02000% for a twelve-month period.

For regional currencies, the Qatari Rial (QAR) is set at 4.10000% for a one-month deposit, gradually decreasing to 3.70000% for a twelve-month term. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a rate of 4.30000% for two, six, and twelve-month deposits, with a slight increase to 4.50000% for one month. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) rates start at 2.05000% for one month and rise to 3.15000% for a twelve-month deposit. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) sees a rate of 4.54000% for a one-month term, reducing to 4.34000% by the end of a year-long deposit.

These rates are pivotal for investors and account holders seeking to maximize their returns on deposits across different currencies and timelines.
