Qatar National Bank Issues Updated Deposit Rates for Multiple Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) announced the latest deposit rates for various currencies on Wednesday. The new rates apply to multiple currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD across different deposit tenures ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rate for the US Dollar (USD) starts at 3.88572% for a one-month term, increasing incrementally to 4.38538% for a twelve-month term. Similarly, for the Japanese Yen (JPY), the rate begins at 0.91000% for a one-month deposit, reaching up to 1.70000% for a twelve-month deposit.

For the Swiss Franc (CHF), deposit rates commence at -0.17000% for a one-month term, with an increase to 0.20000% over a twelve-month period. The British Pound (GBP) shows a starting rate of 3.86000% for a one-month term, rising to 4.81000% for a twelve-month deposit.

In local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) has a one-month deposit rate of 4.05000%, decreasing slightly to 3.92500% for a twelve-month term. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) starts at 4.50000% for a one-month deposit, moving to 4.60000% for twelve months. The UAE Dirham (AED) shows a rate of 2.05000% for one month, reaching 3.15000% for a twelve-month term. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) maintains a steady rate starting from 4.60000% for one month to 4.85000% for a twelve-month deposit.
