Qatar National Bank Announces New Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at the Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, highlighting the latest interest rates for various currencies. The new rates, effective from Tuesday, were issued in a detailed report by the bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 4.35814% for one month, decreasing to 4.00100% for twelve months. The Japanese Yen (JPY) holds a rate of 0.40000% for one month and sees a slight increase to 0.55000% for twelve months. The Swiss Franc (CHF) starts at a negative rate of -0.22000% for one month, slightly increasing to -0.07000% over twelve months. The British Pound (GBP) shows a consistent rise from 3.98000% for one month to 4.07000% for twelve months.

For regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) begins at 4.85000% for one month and gradually decreases to 4.50000% over a year. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) is observed starting at 4.90000% for one month, peaking at 5.10000% for a three to six-month period, before settling at 5.05000% for twelve months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) shows an upward trend from 2.05000% for one month to 3.15000% over twelve months. The Bahraini Dinar (BHD) remains constant at 5.00000% for up to six months, before dropping to 4.50000% for twelve months.

These rates reflect QNB’s strategic approach to deposit management and provide diverse options for investors and depositors looking to maximize returns on their savings in different currencies.
