Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released its updated deposit rates, effective as of Monday, showcasing a range of interest rates across various currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD range from 3.77733% for a one-month deposit to 3.49972% for a twelve-month deposit. The JPY rates start at 0.45000% for a one-month term and increase to 0.70000% for a twelve-month term. Meanwhile, CHF deposit rates are negative, beginning at -0.33000% for one month and improving slightly to -0.05000% for both six-month and twelve-month deposits.
For the GBP, the rates commence at 3.87000% for a one-month deposit, with a slight increase to 3.90000% for three- and six-month deposits, and then a small decline to 3.87000% for a twelve-month term. As for the QAR, deposit rates start at 4.30000% for one month and gradually drop to 3.83333% by the end of a twelve-month period.
Additionally, SAR deposit rates remain consistent at 4.55000% for terms longer than one month. AED rates illustrate a rise from 2.05000% for a one-month deposit to 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, BHD rates decrease steadily from 4.76000% for a one-month term to 4.43000% at the twelve-month mark.
