Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released its latest deposit rates as of Sunday, highlighting the rates across a range of currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. These rates are applicable for different maturity periods ranging from one month to twelve months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 4.35485% for a one-month term, gradually decreasing to 4.00344% for a twelve-month term. The Japanese Yen (JPY) deposit rates remain relatively stable, starting at 0.40000% for both one-month and two-month terms but slightly decreasing to 0.30000% for a three-month term and then rising to 0.65000% for a twelve-month term.
For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the deposit rates start at -0.15000% for a one-month term and shift to -0.08000% for a twelve-month term. The British Pound (GBP) offers a starting rate of 4.00000% for a one-month term, which increases slightly to 4.15000% for a twelve-month term.
In the realm of regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposit rates begin at 4.85000% for a one-month term and decrease to 4.50000% for a twelve-month term. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates start at 4.90000% for one month, peaking at 5.10000% for three and six months, before slightly dropping to 5.05000% for twelve months.
The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) rates begin at 2.05000% for a one-month term and increase to 3.15000% for a twelve-month term, showcasing a gradual rise over the period. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) offers a starting rate of 5.25000% for a one-month term, which decreases to 4.96000% by the end of a twelve-month term.
