Doha:The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has recognized 82 students for their exceptional achievements in international and Gulf competitions during the 2025-26 academic year. The honor was bestowed during a ceremony attended by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah Al Khater and HE Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, the ministry undersecretary.
According to Qatar News Agency, Maryam Al Muhannadi, Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department, emphasized that international competitions offer students a platform to showcase the knowledge and skills developed through their education and training. The awards were described as a testament to the students' commitment, discipline, and perseverance, supported by their families, teachers, supervisors, and schools.
The ministry highlighted that the achievements of students from both government and private schools demonstrate the cooperative efforts across Qatar‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¾¢s education sector. These efforts focus on identifying talented students, developing their abilities, and providing opportunities for them to represent the country in international events.
Al Muhannadi also noted the ministry's role in supporting talented and high-achieving students, stating that such successes could inspire other students to engage in educational activities and pursue opportunities for achievement. The event featured a video presentation showcasing the students' participation and successes in various international competitions and events.
The ceremony was attended by school leaders, parents, and figures from the education and academic sectors. The ministry reiterated its commitment to enhancing students' knowledge, skills, and confidence, aligning with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
