Doha:Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) convened the third edition of the Leadership Innovation Forum 2026 on Wednesday. The event was held under the patronage of HE Chairperson of the QLC Board of Directors, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani.
According to Qatar News Agency, the forum was themed "Strategy Before Execution Building Institutions That Endure Beyond Their Leaders," and attracted over 1,000 participants, including leaders, officials, experts, alumni, and sector representatives. The event featured interactive discussions and debates on strategies for building sustainable institutions.
The forum emphasized strategic planning, governance, knowledge transfer, and future leadership preparation as key components to sustaining institutional success. Abdullah Mohammed Khalifa Al Binali, General Manager of QLC, highlighted the Centre's commitment to advancing leadership thought and facilitating expertise exchange across sectors.
A documentary film opening the program highlighted the leadership legacy of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, showcasing strategic transformations in Qatar. The forum also included panels on education, infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors, alongside workshops for QLC alumni focused on strategic leadership.
QLC aims to prepare national leaders and promote leadership dialogue through its alumni community, supporting national development and the Qatar National Vision.
