Doha: Al-Watan newspaper emphasized that since the establishment of ties between the State of Qatar and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, there has been a continuous exchange of visits, consultations, and correspondence across various levels and sectors. Bilateral relations between the two friendly nations are witnessing remarkable development in numerous fields, it added.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newspaper highlighted the official session of talks held at the Amiri Diwan between HH the Amir and HE President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, which focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them, particularly in the investment sector, alongside a review of various topics of mutual interest. The newspaper highlighted HH the Amir's post on X platform, in which he affirmed the discussion with HE President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana on ways to bolster friendly relations between the two countries. HH the Amir said that both sides discussed expanding areas of economic, trade, and investment partnership between the two countries, as well as greater cooperation would open up broader horizons for the growing bilateral relations, enhance joint work and help meet the aspirations of the two friendly countries.
