Qatar Football Association Holds Preparatory Meeting for Amir Cup Final

Qatar Football Association (QFA) held on Wednesday the preparatory meeting for the Amir Cup Final match that brings Al Sadd and Al-Arabi teams face-to-face next Friday at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.

The meeting was chaired by Head of the QFA Competitions Department Ali Hammoud Al Nuaimi in the presence of the general director of the match Abdullah Jassim and former international referee Abdullah Al Balushi, including all parties participating in the event.

During the meeting, they identified a mechanism of the teams’ presence in the stadium, training time schedule, arrival and all detailed and regulatory procedures relevant to the teams and fans.

They also specified the time for the teams’ arrival at the pitch to conduct warm-up exercise and countdown to game start, in addition to adopting the crowning system and mechanism on the podium, where winner of the second place will ascend to the podium followed by the crowned team.

Head of the QFA Competitions Department Ali Hammoud Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of adhering to the instructions related to crowning, congratulating the two teams for qualification for the final, wishing a suspenseful and riveting game for all to enjoy their time during the match.

The referee Abdullah Al Balushi congratulated the two teams for being qualified for the final urging them to never object the referees’ decisions and adhere to them in order to have a most beautiful match.
