Qatar Engages in Arab Media Summit 2025 in UAE

Dubai: The State of Qatar has actively taken part in the Arab Media Summit 2025, which commenced last Monday at the Dubai World Trade Center. The Qatari delegation was led by HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the summit, running until May 28, gathers key figures, including political and media personalities, editors-in-chief, and leaders of media institutions. Approximately 8,000 media professionals and enthusiasts from the UAE and across the Arab world, alongside content creators, influencers, media technology experts, and academics, are present to explore future media development prospects.

The initial day of the summit featured sessions on modern media technologies, content creation, and advanced technology. Discussions also focused on artificial intelligence’s role in shaping the current Arab media landscape. Additionally, the day’s events celebrated the Arab youth media award “Ibdaa” (Creativity), highlighting young talents in the media sector.

Throughout the summit, more than 175 main sessions and over 35 workshops are being conducted, with contributions from major global media institutions and digital platforms. The summit will also honor the Media Personality of the Year and announce winners of the Arab Media Awards in several categories.

On the summit’s concluding day, May 28, the Arab social media influencers summit will take place, alongside a ceremony recognizing the winners of the Arab social media influencers award.
