Thousands of Palestinian low-income families in the besieged Gaza Strip received payments from Qatar on Sunday, local reports said. Some 95,000 Palestinian families living in the besieged enclave will be entitled to receive the financial aid. Qatar’s Gaza Reconstruction Committee (GRC) chief Mohammed Al-Emadi, Doha’s ambassador to the enclave, said on Thursday that the GRC will work with the Qatar Fund for Development in handing out February’s funds.
