Doha:Qatar has expressed strong disapproval of Israeli actions in Syrian territory, highlighting the completion of work on the "Sufa 53" line as a significant concern.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari government described these actions as a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and a breach of international law. It further warned that such measures pose a serious threat to regional security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement issued on Sunday, urged the international community to take urgent measures to ensure Israel complies with international resolutions, particularly the 1974 ceasefire agreement. The ministry emphasized the need to halt Israeli offensives to prevent further regional tension.
Qatar reaffirmed its unwavering support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing solidarity with the Syrian people in their quest for security, stability, and prosperity.
