Doha: The State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman recently reviewed their national programs in the field of green buildings, focusing on efforts to preserve ecosystems and enhance sustainability pathways. This collaboration was highlighted during a visit hosted by Qatar’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, where an official delegation from Oman’s Environment Authority was briefed on various national programs and initiatives related to environmental sustainability.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Omani delegation engaged in an educational visit that included learning about practical experiences and field initiatives. The itinerary featured tours of the “Msheireb – Heart of Doha” project and the Qatar National Library. Additionally, the delegation visited key facilities such as the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) and the Ministry of Municipality’s waste treatment center, providing insights into Qatar’s sustainability practices.
