New york: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Dr. Nawaf Salam on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon and addressing regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions included diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at reducing regional tensions and promoting security and stability. The Prime Minister of Qatar expressed support for diplomatic initiatives to ensure freedom of maritime navigation and pursue a comprehensive agreement for sustainable peace.
