Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Abbas Araghchi. The conversation focused on the cooperative relations between Qatar and Iran and explored ways to strengthen and enhance them.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, along with several other mutual interests. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar’s support for the negotiations between Iran and the United States held in the Sultanate of Oman. He highlighted Qatar’s ongoing commitment to working with regional and international partners to reduce tensions and foster stability and peace in the region.
