Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders focused on strengthening the cooperation between Qatar and Oman. They also addressed the latest regional developments, with particular emphasis on diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and the enhancement of security and stability in the region.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts that ensure freedom of maritime navigation and contribute to a comprehensive agreement for sustainable peace in the region.
