Prime Minister and Spanish Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Cooperation Over Phone

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares. The discussion focused on bilateral cooperation relations and ways to further support and enhance them, alongside a review of the latest regional developments, particularly the Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s strong condemnation of the repeated Israeli violations and attacks in the region. He stressed that such actions undermine efforts to achieve peace and risk dragging the region into a wider conflict. His Excellency highlighted the urgent need for joint regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve disputes through diplomatic channels.

HE the Prime Minister affirmed that Qatar is committed to exerting intensive efforts, in coordination with its partners, to restore dialogue among all parties. The aim is to address outstanding issues and promote security and peace in the region and the world. The commitment to diplomatic solutions and peacekeeping remains a priority for Qatar as it navigates these complex regional challenges.
