Doha: the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a telephone conversation with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan. The call focused on bilateral relations and explored avenues to support and strengthen these ties.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also involved mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress in the negotiations and welcomed the announcement by the Pakistani mediation team regarding the final text of the peace agreement. Additionally, they expressed hope for the agreement to be signed by the American and Iranian representatives soon.
The leaders reaffirmed their support for ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, aiming to consolidate security and stability both regionally and internationally. They emphasized the importance of enhancing prospects for sustainable peace in the region.
