Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Attends 10th Cohort Graduation Ceremony at Doha Institute

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani attended the graduation ceremony for the 10th cohort of master's students from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. The event, held at the Sheraton Doha Hotel, was graced by several ministers, Dr. Azmi Bishara, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, and numerous board members.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ceremony celebrated the graduation of 246 students. Among them, 163 students were from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, and 83 were from the School of Economics, Administration, and Public Policy. The graduates represent 32 nationalities, with 100 of them benefiting from the Qatar Fund for Development's State of Qatar Scholarship Program for International Students. Additionally, 73 of the graduates are Qatari nationals.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, alongside HE Vice Chairman of the Institute's Board of Trustees Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ali bin Saud Al-Thani, President of the Doha Institute Dr. Abdelwahab El-Affendi, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Amal Ghazal, and the deans of the colleges, presented the certificates to the graduates. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also participated in presenting certificates to graduates of the executive master's program in Diplomatic Studies and International Cooperation, offered in partnership with the Diplomatic Institute.

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies has now celebrated the graduation of ten cohorts since its inception, amounting to a total of 1,886 graduates. Many of these graduates have pursued further academic endeavors by enrolling in doctoral programs at esteemed universities worldwide, while others have secured professional, academic, and research roles in various institutions globally.

The Institute provides 20 internationally accredited master's programs through its two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy, in addition to eight doctoral programs.
