Doha: HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi departed Doha on Tuesday after offering condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His visit marked a gesture of solidarity and respect towards the Qatari leadership and its people during their time of mourning.

According to Qatar News Agency, the President was accompanied by a delegation and was seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani. Also present at the departure was HE Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar, Walid Fahmy Al Faqi. The visit underscores the importance of diplomatic ties and mutual respect between Egypt and Qatar.
