Doha: HE President of the Union of the Comoros Azali Assoumani arrived in Doha on Tuesday to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His visit marks a gesture of solidarity and respect following the demise of the former Qatari leader.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim bin Yousif Fakhro. The presence of the President of Comoros underscores the strong diplomatic ties between Comoros and Qatar, highlighting the importance of the relationship shared by the two nations.
