Police Academy Celebrates Graduation of Specialized Courses

Doha: The Police Academy The Police Academy, represented by the Police Officers Institute, celebrated the graduation of a number of mandatory and specialized courses held during the first half of 2026. The event marked a significant milestone in the continuous development of security and military personnel.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ceremony was attended by HE Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, the Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy, alongside several officers representing the participating security and military entities. This presence highlighted the importance of the courses in the broader context of national security and military proficiency.

During the first half of this year, the Police Officers Institute successfully organized 34 mandatory and specialized courses. These courses saw the participation of 650 officers from various security and military agencies, underscoring the wide reach and impact of the academy's training programs.

The range of courses included the Intermediate Officers Course, the First Officers Course, the Weapons and Marksmanship Course, and the Infantry and Weapons Instructors Preparation Course. These programs reflect the Police Academy's dedication to advancing specialized qualification and enhancing practical and field skills in accordance with the highest approved training standards.

The graduation ceremony also featured a documentary film that showcased the stages of training and qualification, providing insight into the rigorous process involved. The event concluded with the honoring of outstanding participants and entities that contributed to the success of the training programs, as well as the distribution of certificates to the graduates, celebrating their accomplishments and readiness for future challenges.
