Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh stressed that what is happening in Jerusalem is “a major crime against worshipers.” Israeli occupying forces stormed the Qibli prayer hall in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque last night, and severely beat worshippers, fired poison gas bombs and stun grenades at them, leaving dozens suffocated.

In a statement carried by the Palestine news agency (WAFA), Shtayyeh added that the Judaization of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is achieved by preventing Muslims from worshiping and praying in it.

“Praying in Al-Aqsa Mosque does not require the permission of the Israeli occupation, but rather it is our right,” he said, stressing that Israel does not want to learn from history that Al-Aqsa is for the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims and that storming it sparks a revolution against the occupation.
