One Palestinian was martyred at dawn Sunday after the Israeli occupation soldiers shot him near the town of Deir Sharaf, west of Nablus in the West Bank.
Ahmed Atef Awawda, aged 19, from the town of Dora in Hebron, was injured by Israeli gunfire near the town of Deir Sharaf, Palestinian medical sources said.
With the martyrdom of Awawda, death toll in the West Bank in the past 24 hours climbs to 7.
The Israeli occupation forces escalated their violent violations against the Palestinians in different parts of the occupied West Bank, and tightened measures in occupied Jerusalem, while the occupation warplanes launched intense raids on Gaza Strip leaving 232 martyrs and 1,697 wounded so far, in addition to huge destruction of buildings, residential towers, property and infrastructure.
