Islamabad:Pakistan announced that it had carried out airstrikes on 10 locations in Afghanistan.
According to Qatar News Agency, Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that Pakistan's air defense systems successfully detected, tracked, and neutralized all incoming drones before they could reach their intended targets.
The strikes targeted locations in Afghanistan identified as sites for launching and storing these drones. Minister Tarar described the strikes as deliberate, precise, calibrated, and proportionate, emphasizing that they were limited to military objectives connected to the attempted drone attacks on Pakistan.
He condemned the incursion of drones into Pakistani territory, launched from Afghan soil, as a violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity, labeling it an act of aggression.
