Marjeyoun: One person was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Marjeyoun area in southern Lebanon on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center stated in a press release that the Israeli airstrike targeted a car on the Adaysseh-Markab road in the Marjeyoun district, resulting in the death of one person.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27 of last year, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the Israeli occupation forces remain in five locations and continue to violate the agreement.
