Muscat: Chief of Staff of the Omani Armed Forces Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi met with Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Maj. Gen. (Pilot) Mohammed bin Saeed Al Moghedi during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting focused on exploring potential areas for cooperation and enhancing the partnership between IMCTC and Oman, particularly in counter-terrorism, capacity-building, and expertise exchange. The aim is to support regional and international efforts in combating terrorist threats and strengthening security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered the role of IMCTC's Initiative Financing Fund. They examined its objectives, operational paths, and its contribution towards funding strategic initiatives that are high priorities for member states. The conversation included executing significant programs and sustainable projects across various counter-terrorism fields.
