The Sultanate of Oman announced that its embassy in Sudan evacuated several Omani citizens and their families as well as a number of Sudanese families residing in Oman from Khartoum and Omdurman and other regions.

A statement issued by the Omani Foreign Ministry today pointed out that efforts are still underway to evacuate more citizens and residents in other Sudanese cities, expressing its appreciation to Saudi Arabia and Egypt in facilitating the evacuation process through the city of Jeddah and through Egyptian land ports.
