Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman announced Wednesday the success of its efforts to release the crew of the “Galaxy Leader” ship detained in Yemen, numbering 25 people of Filipino, Bulgarian, Mexican, Ukrainian, and Romanian nationalities. The announcement marked the culmination of diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring the safe return of the crew members.
According to Qatar News Agency, the released individuals were transferred from Sana’a to Muscat on board a Royal Air Force of Oman plane. This transfer is a preparatory step for the eventual repatriation of the crew to their respective countries. The operation underscores Oman’s commitment to international cooperation and humanitarian efforts in the region.
