Doha: Oil prices closed higher on Monday: Brent crude futures gained 79 cents, or 1.27 percent, to settle at $63.17 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 77 cents, or 1.32 percent, to $59.32 a barrel at settlement.
According to Qatar News Agency, the increase in oil prices reflects ongoing market adjustments and potential supply concerns. Both Brent and West Texas Intermediate futures saw noticeable gains, indicating a positive shift in market sentiments on Monday.
