Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, opened the second edition of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Carbon Dioxide Recovery Plants User Conference.

He stressed Bahrain’s keenness on hosting events that aim to advance knowledge and expertise in coupling the development of the industrial sectors with measures to protect the environment from industrial pollutants.

Bin Daina highlighted that Bahrain seeks to reinforce ambitious environmental policies and projects to reduce carbon emissions and achieve zero neutrality.

He expressed his thanks to MHI Company and GPIC for hosting this environmental event that showcases the latest technologies and studies in this domain.
