Number of Palestinians Killed Due to Israeli Bombing in Gaza Increases to Four

The number of Palestinians killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip since this morning has risen to four martyrs.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the Israeli occupation forces targeted with at least one missile a hospital in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of one of the workers and the injury of others, in addition to the disruption of the oxygen station inside it.

A Palestinian journalist was also killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets east of Bureij in the central Gaza Strip while covering events on the border strip, bringing the number of martyrs since this morning to four martyrs.

Israeli raids are still continuing on the Gaza Strip, which has been besieged for 16 years, at a time when the Israeli army announced the summoning of reserve soldiers on a large scale and imposed a state of emergency within an 80-kilometer radius after sirens sounded in the occupation cities.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the occupation forces closed all military checkpoints surrounding the occupied city of Jerusalem, and completely prevented movement to and from the city, as dozens of Palestinians became stranded due to the closure of the checkpoints.

It also completely closed the Karama crossing, which links the occupied West Bank with Jordan, until further notice, in addition to closing the Tayasir and Hamra checkpoints to Palestinians heading to the Jordan Valley.

In the Gaza Strip, the latest wave of Israeli escalation in the Strip led to the disruption of all aspects of life there, until further notice, amid ongoing Israeli missile and artillery bombardment towards vital installations, including hospitals.

In light of this new Israeli aggression, the Palestinian Ministry of Health declared a state of emergency in all hospitals, affirming their readiness to receive the wounded from the Gaza Strip.
