Neymar Included in Brazil’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Squad

Doha: Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti announced the Brazil squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with superstar Neymar making the cut after a hiatus due to injury. The 34-year-old former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player made a strong comeback to the Selecao, having not played for them since October 2023, amid his struggles with recurring injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, Brazil's all-time top goal scorer, with 79 goals, will appear at his fourth World Cup, having previously played in the 2014, 2018, and 2022 editions. Neymar's inclusion is seen as a significant boost for Brazil as they aim to secure another World Cup title. His experience and goal-scoring ability are expected to play a key role in Brazil's campaign.
