Ramallah: The Muslim World League has issued a condemnation of Iran's recent targeting of a Saudi tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan: In a statement released, the organization's General Secretariat criticized the actions for breaching religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms.
According to Qatar News Agency, the statement specifically addressed the incident involving the Saudi-flagged tanker Sidr, which was targeted while navigating through the Strait of Hormuz. The organization expressed its complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and it voiced support for the measures these countries are taking to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and national interests.
