Rabat:King Mohammed VI of Morocco met with Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri at the Royal Palace and appointed her as Prime Minister, granting her the task of forming the new government.
According to Qatar News Agency, El Mansouri, who serves as the coordinator of the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), has been given full discretion to establish the new administration under Article 47 of the Moroccan Constitution.
The appointment follows PAM's recent electoral success, where the party secured a significant victory with 97 seats. The National Rally of Independents followed with 66 seats, the Istiqlal Party with 65, and the Justice and Development Party with 54 seats.
