MoEHE, AASCB Ink Cooperation Agreement to Develop Education in Business Management

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) signed a cooperation agreement with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AASCB), the world’s largest business education alliance to coordinate and strengthen cooperation to develop business administration education.

Chairman of the National Commission for Academic Qualifications and Accreditation at the MoEHE Dr. Mazen Hasnah and Chief Global Accreditation Officer at the International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business Stephanie Bryant signed the agreement.

To mark this occasion, Dr. Mazen Hasnah reiterated the commitment to academic excellence and global best practices, stating: “Our partnership with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence. This collaboration is a strategic move to adopt and integrate global best practices into our educational framework, ensuring that our future business leaders are well-prepared to navig
ate the ever-evolving global economy.” For her part, Stephanie Bryant expressed her optimism about the partnership and said: “We are excited to embark on this journey with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar. This collaboration will enable us to pool our resources and expertise to enhance the quality and value of business education in the region.” Bryant added, “The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar’s deep expertise will greatly contribute globally to the association’s efforts and integration in business education.” Under the agreement, the two parties will enhance cooperation to improve mutual understanding between the two sides regarding global accreditation activities and explore and enhance aspects of cooperation through joint events. Also, it will exchange experiences and information between the two sides as needed and identify and explore other areas of common interest in which the partnership can be strengthened and deepened for the benefit of both parties. The agr
eement is valid for five renewable years.

AASCB was founded in 1916. It specializes in ensuring the quality of the educational process, adopting the latest methods of teaching business management. It provides professional development services to over 1,900 member organizations and over 1,000 accredited business schools worldwide. It is considered the oldest global accreditation body for business schools, with the largest network of colleges, teachers, learners, companies, and job markets worldwide. It currently has one accredited school in Qatar.
