HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, visited yesterday the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector as the Center began operations yesterday.

Establishing this new facility, one of the largest vaccination centers in the world, is the regarded as the outcome of collaboration between the Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar Charity, and the Ministry of Interior. The Center is one of several vaccination centers that have been established particularly to ensure the speedy implementation of the Qatar national vaccination program.

In this regard, the Minister of Public Health said that the opening of this new vaccination center highlights the State of Qatar’s commitment to continuing the speedy roll-out of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program for the population eligible for vaccination. This program has actually seen a noticeable increase in the number of people vaccinated with two doses or one dose at least so far, as she said.
