Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received the Director of Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction, Ali Ameeni. He handed the Undersecretary the US-based ROI Institute Award 2022 for the government category. The Maan won a competition with more than 70 countries.
NPRA Undersecretary hailed the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and his endless support of the programme since its launch in 2011.
Maan has won many local and international awards for its success in following the highest international standards in professionally implementing community and security programmes.
Ameeni said winning was part of the commitment to implement the award’s criteria and requirements, highlighting that the achievement contributes to the programme’s progress.
