Longines Hathab Concludes 3rd Round with Meritorious Triumphs

Doha: The third round of the 9th Qatar Equestrian Tour (Longines Hathab) concluded on Saturday at the indoor arena of the Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF).

According to Qatar News Agency, the tournament, organized by QEF in partnership with Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, featured competitions for the Diamond Round, Silver Round, and Riders of the Future.

Fahad Talal Al Nuaimi clinched first place in the Riders of the Future competition at a height of 90 cm, recording a time of 54.14 seconds on the horse Croat. Melina Karagjanidi claimed second place with a time of 56.28 seconds on the horse Tolebardz, while Khalifa bin Jouan bin Hamad Al-Thani secured third place with a time of 56.31 seconds on the horse Zion. The winners were crowned by Chairman of the Tournament Judging Committee, Ahmed Al Badawi.

In the Silver Round, Saeed Hamad Juma claimed the title with a time of 26.49 seconds on the horse Diesel. Hamad Nasser Al Qadi took second place with a time of 26.93 seconds on the horse Deep Water, and Salman Mohammed Al Emadi finished third with a time of 27.77 seconds on the horse Toberon. The winners of this round were crowned by CEO of Sahil Art Production, Faisal Al Marri.

In the Diamond Round, Khalid Al Eid secured both first and third places, recording times of 61.04 seconds on the horse Q Line and 63.01 seconds on the horse Raker, while Santiago Lambert captured second place with a time of 58 seconds on the horse Diakitus. The winners were crowned by QEF Board Member, Ahmed Jaber Al Mulla.

Tournament Director Abdullah Al Marri heaped praise on the levels demonstrated by the riders during the first and second rounds of the tournament, which featured competitive performances across various stages, including show jumping and dressage. The progressive performance displayed by the riders reflects the magnitude of preparation and qualifies them for forthcoming competitions that QEF intends to organize.

Al Marri concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts and intensifying preparations, especially ahead of the upcoming regional and global competitions. He underscored his confidence in the Qatari riders’ ability to represent Al Adham in the best possible manner and achieve results that reflect the development of equestrian sports in the State of Qatar.
