Kyrgyzstan….Ancient History, Unparalleled Charming Nature

The Kyrgyz Republic enjoys an incomparable charm, amazing nature, long and ancient history, and famous historical urban monuments that bear witness to civilizations that this country has gone through.

Kyrgyz Republic is also famous for its high alpine meadows, snowy peaks, calm lakes scattered between the peaks, wide green spaces, and clear mountain rivers. One of the famous Kyrgyz cities, Bishkek, the capital, is one of the most beautiful, charming, and glamorous cities in the world. It possesses unparalleled nature and stunning views with breathtaking beauty. This city is home to a group of gardens, parks, and nature reserves, with many museums that tell tales about the Uzbek people, in addition to popular markets and archaeological sites.

Bishkek is characterized by historical, heritage, and civilizational buildings dating back to different eras, and it also preserves some ancient archaeological buildings.

A large number of cultural facilities and squares attributed to the heroes who played a significant role in the country’s independence have been built, such as Ala-Too Square in the center of Bishkek, in addition to the many squares, fields, and fountains scattered in the city.

Among the tourist and historical attractions are the State History Museum, the Bishkek Central Mosque in the city center, and the Islamic endowment building next to it.

Bishkek has several museums, including the National Museum of Fine Arts, Sovetskaya Street 196. It also includes theaters, including the Kyrgyz Drama Theatre and the Russian Drama Theatre.

The city has more than 20 gardens, including a large garden, the Botanical Garden, with more than 2,500 species of trees.

Bishkek also has the tomb of the great writer Chinghiz Aitmatov, one of the classics of world literature, whose novels were a source of inspiration for many filmmakers who were inspired by his novels, such as Konchalovsky’s “The First Teacher” film.

Kyrgyz Republic is characterized by its diversity and richness, as the culture and heritage of the Kyrgyz people are rich in oral poetry, handicrafts, national costumes, musical instruments, Bedouin tents, folk games, and the most famous elements of the Kyrgyz heritage is the Epic of Manas, which is the longest poetic epic in the world. Due to the cultural cooperation between Qatar and Kyrgyz, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) hosted last March, a concert “Kyrgyz Culture through music, patterns, and ornaments,” during which various paintings were presented that reviewed the cultural and artistic diversity in the regions of Different from Kyrgyz, where the audience got acquainted with the musical instruments and folk traditional costumes, which was a good opportunity to get acquainted with part of the civilization and culture of the Kyrgyz people.

The ceremony was accompanied by exhibits of Kyrgyz carpets known for their diversity and precision, in addition to brochures introducing historical and tourist places in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Kyrgyz Republic has also previously presented several cultural events in Katara, including the Boz Jol exhibition in 2019, which included artworks inspired by the ancient culture of Kyrgyz and participated in the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail).
