Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense: 2 Ballistic Missiles Intercepted, No Damage or Injuries

Doha: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced the interception of two ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace, with no material damage or casualties reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Saud Abdulaziz Al Atwan, explained in a statement on Sunday that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces detected two hostile ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace early this morning. The missiles were intercepted and dealt with according to established operational procedures, resulting in no material damage or casualties.

The spokesperson added that the Armed Forces affirm their continued commitment to their duties and responsibilities, maintaining constant readiness and preparedness to enhance national security and safeguard the well-being of citizens and residents.
