Doha:The Kuwait Bourse ended Sunday's trading session with the All Share Index dropping by 23.74 points, closing at 8,689.97 points, which marks a decrease of 0.27 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of approximately 225.8 million shares, with transactions amounting to KWD 60.6 million, equivalent to about USD 197.1 million, across 19,130 deals.
The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 5.79 points, closing at 8,953.90 points, a 0.06 percent drop. This was achieved through the trading of 140.7 million shares in 12,861 transactions, with a total value of KWD 26.9 million, or roughly USD 87.5 million.
Additionally, the Premier Market Index decreased by 28.79 points to end at 9,084.81 points, down by 0.32 percent. The index saw 85.1 million shares traded via 6,269 transactions, with a value of KWD 33.6 million, approximately USD 107 million.
The Bourse Main 50 Index also noted a loss, shedding 54.85 points to close at 10,056.58 points, a decline of 0.54 percent. The trading volume for this index was 86.9 million shares, conducted through 8,602 deals, valued at KWD 18.2 million, or about USD 59.2 million.
