Kuwait:The Kuwait Bourse ended Wednesday's trading session on a positive note as the All Share Index rose by 75.26 points, reaching a total of 8,830.61 points, marking an increase of 0.86 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 374.12 million shares were traded, with a value of KWD 117.2 million, approximately USD 359.8 million, across 27,264 transactions.
The Main Market Index experienced an increase of 49.64 points, closing at 9,137.79 points, an upward shift of 0.55 percent. This was achieved through the exchange of 220.8 million shares in 17,511 transactions, valued at KWD 51.6 million, or roughly USD 158.4 million.
In addition, the Premier Market Index rose by 84.62 points to end at 9,223.53 points, representing a 0.93 percent gain. This came from the trading of 153.2 million shares across 9,753 transactions, with a total value of KWD 65.5 million, approximately USD 201 million.
The Bourse Main 50 Index also saw positive movement, gaining 63.56 points to reach 10,463.01 points, up by 0.61 percent. This was achieved with a stock volume of 170.2 million shares conducted in 12,325 deals, valued at KWD 36.7 million, roughly USD 112.6 million.
