Doha:The Kuwait Bourse concluded Tuesday's trading session with an upward trend as the All Share Index rose by 15.52 points, reaching a total of 8,654.04 points, marking a 0.18 percent increase.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 263.8 million shares were exchanged, with a trading value of KWD 74 million, approximately USD 228 million, spread across 19,334 transactions.
The Main Market Index saw an increase of 13.76 points, bringing it to 8,900.83 points, a rise of 0.15 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 153.8 million shares across 11,792 transactions, with a total value of KWD 30 million, or roughly USD 92.4 million.
The Premier Market Index also climbed, gaining 16.70 points to reach 9,050.66 points, a 0.18 percent increase. This index involved 109.9 million shares traded via 7,542 transactions, valued at KWD 43.9 million, or about USD 135.2 million.
In addition, the Bourse Main 50 Index advanced by 109.99 points, achieving a level of 10,078.49 points, up by 1.10 percent. This was accomplished through a stock volume of 119 million shares across 8,781 deals, with a total value of KWD 23.9 million, or approximately USD 73.6 million.
