Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 11.48 points to reach 8,077.22 points, marking a decrease of 0.14 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the day’s trading saw as many as 397.9 million shares valued at KWD 67 million (approximately USD 205.6 million) being transacted through 20,195 transactions.
The Main Market Index showed an upward movement, gaining 26.66 points to reach 7,040.95 points, an increase of 0.38 percent. This was achieved through the exchange of 285 million shares across 13,076 transactions, valued at KWD 34.15 million (around USD 104.8 million).
In contrast, the Premier Market Index experienced a decline, losing 21.58 points to settle at 8,734.89, a dip of 0.25 percent. This occurred via 112.9 million shares exchanged in 7,119 transactions, amounting to KWD 32.8 million (approximately USD 100.6 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse’s Main 50 Index saw a rise of 28.47 points, reaching 7,312.18 points, which is an increase of 0.39 percent. This was driven by a stock volume of 195.4 million shares executed in 8,658 deals, valued at KWD 26.4 million (approximately USD 81 million).
