Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 51.51 points to reach 8,268.50 points, an increase of 0.63 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 408.11 million shares valued at KWD 94.7 million (roughly USD 289.7 million) were traded via 21,279 transactions. The Main Market Index went up by 34.51 points to reach 7,042.38 points, up by 0.49 percent, through 201.6 million shares done via 10,107 transactions valued at KWD 21 million (roughly USD 64.2 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 58.29 points to reach 8,982.89 points, up by 0.65 percent, through 206.4 million shares done via 11,172 transactions valued at KWD 73.7 million (roughly USD 225.5 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went up by 16.74 points to reach 7,212.92 points, up by 0.23 percent, through stock volume of 163.3 million shares done in 6,413 deals at a value of KWD 15.5 million (roughly USD 47.4 million).
