Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 69.62 points to reach 8,974.42 points, an increase of 0.78 percent. As many as 548.4 million shares valued at KWD 184.4 million (roughly USD 562.4 million) were traded via 32,867 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 43.78 points to reach 8,549.38 points, up by 0.51 percent. This was achieved through 283 million shares done via 20,609 transactions valued at KWD 61.8 million (roughly USD 188.4 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 79.51 points to reach 9,523.89 points, up by 0.84 percent. This increase came through 301.4 million shares done via 12,258 transactions valued at KWD 122.6 million (roughly USD 373.9 million).

Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index rose 66.93 points to reach 8,830.82 points, up by 0.76 percent. The stock volume involved 179.4 million shares done in 10,809 deals at a value of KWD 35.4 million (roughly USD 107.9 million).
