Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 26.89 points to reach 8,070.02 points, an increase of 0.33 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 337.3 million shares valued at KWD 82 million (approximately USD 251.7 million) were traded through 21,069 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a rise of 3.33 points, reaching 7,001.32 points, marking a 0.05 percent increase. This was achieved through the exchange of 201.7 million shares in 10,908 transactions, with a total value of KWD 29.7 million (around USD 91.17 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a gain of 34.08 points, reaching 8,735.40 points, an increase of 0.39 percent. This was accomplished through the trading of 135.5 million shares in 10,161 transactions, valued at KWD 52.2 million (approximately USD 160.2 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse’s Main 50 Index rose by 5.73 points to reach 7,302.32 points, a 0.08 percent increase. This was achieved with a stock volume of 158.9 million shares conducted in 8,541 deals, valued at KWD 25.2 million (roughly USD 77.3 million).
